We are glad to announce our online event “The Discovery of Pulsars”. Our guest is Jocelyn Bell Burnell who discovered the first radio pulsars in 1967. Prof. Bell Burnell has extraordinary contributions to astronomy ever since. Besides the academic work, she also chaired the Royal Astronomical Society, Institute of Physics, and Royal Society of Edinburgh. Professor Jocelyn Bell Burnell has been awarded the prestigious Royal Astronomical Society Gold Medal which is the Society’s highest honour.
